If you’re an Apple fan looking for a pair of wireless earbuds, you really can’t go wrong with AirPods. In fact, adding a pair of the iconic white buds to your tech ecosystem, whether its primarily Apple or not, might feel very right.
But maybe not so much for you wallet — at least, most of the time. Thankfully, this week is not most of the time, because as of April 21, you can score a pair of refurbished AirPods Pro for just $139.99 (that’s $110 cheaper than their MSRP) at Woot. To put it into perspective, that’s $20 more of a discount than the Pros have ever seen at their absolute lowest price new, and $10 less than what a new pair of third-gen AirPods are going for at Amazon.
Speaking of third-gen AirPods, you can also pick up a refurbed pair as part of this Woot deal for just $119.99. As a 33% markdown, it’s not quite as impressive a deal as the Pros, but if for some reason you really want to forego active noise cancellation (maybe to get a little more out of your battery life), then the deal is still a decent option.
Still, we prefer the Pros. Despite being the slightly older model, you get the same spatial audio you would as third-gen AirPods, that same H1 chip for easy connectivity, the same case design that was originally exclusive to the Pros, plus the ANC, transparency mode, and interchangeable ear tips.
Whichever you choose, both of these buds are Grade A Refurbished, meaning they were restored to fully working condition, though not by Apple. They also both have batteries that are tested to function at 85% capacity and cosmetic damage that’s only noticeable when held close.
At the end of the day, they are refurbished, meaning you still get a pretty good product for a fraction of the price, and the knowledge that your purchase is a little bit kinder to the Earth.
