SAVE $150: In the market for a new tablet? The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (64GB, WiFi) is just $379.99 at Walmart and Samsung’s website as of April 29. That’s 28% savings on an already more affordable alternative to the S7+ or iPad Pro.
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S8 Series just dropped in February, which is great news for bargain shoppers. When a new device hits the market, the older models tend to hit the sales page. And lucky for Samsung lovers, that seems to be the case.
As of April 29, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is on sale for $379.99 at Walmart and Samsung.com. This particular configuration comes in mystic black and packs just 64GB of storage and WiFi only, but you can add up to 1TB of external storage with a microSD card. It’s regularly $529.99, so you’ll save $150.
The Galaxy Tab S7 FE — for “fan edition” — is the more affordable, albeit less powerful alternative to the Galaxy Tab S7+. Sporting an octa-core processor, a glorious 12.4-inch display, and Dolby Atmos surround sound, it’s a tablet that immerses you in the action. It also doesn’t just support the company’s S Pen stylus, but comes with it. That means you can take notes comfortably by hand, sketch out designs in rich detail, and multitask like a pro.
Other standout features include a landscape camera with a three-mic solution that reduces surrounding noise, which makes it a solid option for video calls or streaming, and seamless connectivity between other Galaxy devices. There are some caveats, of course, as our friends at PCMag (which is owned by Mashable’s publisher, Ziff Davis) pointed out in their review. Its performance and display compared to the S7+ or even Apple’s iPad are just so-so, and there’s no fingerprint sensor or other fancy security feature.
All in all, however, it’s a productivity-minded tablet great for getting work done on the go. Plus it’s a steal compared to competitors — especially at $150 off.
