From June 21 through July 13, the second half of Prime Day, any Prime member who hasn’t tried Amazon Music Unlimited(opens in a new tab) before can score a four-month trial for free. (That’s a month longer than its standard 90-day trial for everyone.) Amazon normally charges $8.99 a month for its premium music subscription service if you’ve got Prime — it’s $1 more per month for non-members — so this will save you just under $36 total.
For the uninitiated, Amazon Music Unlimited features a library of over 90 million songs in HD and millions of songs in Ultra HD, plus a sizable collection of music mastered in Dolby Atmos and 360 Reality Audio. (The new Beyoncé album(opens in a new tab) gets added to the lineup on July 29, FYI.) You’ll have a couple million podcast episodes to pick from, too. Subscribers can listen on-demand and offline, with zero ads and unlimited skips on pretty much any device.
To take advantage of the promotion, simply visit amazon.com/music/unlimited(opens in a new tab) at some point before July 13 and hit the mustard yellow “Try now” button. From there, you just need to log into your Prime account and confirm the offer. Be sure to set a reminder for four months out if you don’t want to be charged after the trial period ends.
The only caveat is that you have to be a new Music Unlimited subscriber. Anyone who’s tried it before isn’t eligible, unfortunately.
