If you like the color purple (as Samsung very much seems to) and are looking for a solid pair of earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 have reached a new all-time low price. There’s just one catch — the price drop is only available in lavender.
As of August 24, the lavender Galaxy Buds 2 are on sale for just $84(opens in a new tab) at Walmart. That’s $66 in savings and 44% off their MSRP of $149.99. That’s also $5 less than than their previous all-time low price.
We love the Buds 2 for their egg-shaped design, impressive comfort, better active noise cancellation than their Pro or Live siblings, and robust app-based sound customization for Android users. They’re compatible with iPhones as well and work decently. You just won’t get the ability to dive deeper into sound customization (bass boost, adjustable ANC, etc.) on the Android-only app.
Overall sound performance is just OK, as is battery life, but as Mashable’s Alex Perry wrote in his review, “If you’re an Android phone owner who’s been on the lookout for a good pair of wireless earbuds without melting your bank account — don’t overthink this.”
