TL;DR: As of September 2, you can get the Nix Mini Color Sensor V2(opens in a new tab) for just $83.95 instead of $99 — that’s a 15% discount.

Starting a DIY paint project? Your walls may not be the color they used to be, so finding paint to match could be a struggle after the color has faded. However, it could be virtually no trouble finding the right color of paint(opens in a new tab) for your faded walls if you use the Nix Mini Color sensor V2. This compact Bluetooth color sensor is designed to identify thousands of colors and match them up to their corresponding color of actual, purchasable paint. The Nix Color Sensor V2 is on sale for just $83.95 (Reg. $99).

See the true colors of the world around you

Whether you’re looking at your walls or a couch you like at Starbucks, Nix might be able to take some of the guesswork out of your color-picking process. The Nix works by scanning virtually any surface and matching it to more than 100,000 brand name paint colors and color codes(opens in a new tab). In terms of compatible surfaces, there are many. The Nix should work on painted walls, vinyl, leather, plastic, fabric, dyes, and more.

Once you’ve identified the scanned color, you can browse color matches from brands like Dulux, Sherwin Williams, and Benjamin Moore. You also shouldn’t have to worry about getting an inaccurate scan because of the Nix’s light-blocking mechanism. Whenever you press the Nix to a surface, it’s built to block all light coming in and produces its own calibrated light. Your scan is then sent to your phone via Bluetooth.

The Nix is fully rechargeable and compatible with Android and iOS devices. It is lightweight with a solid-state construction, so you should have less to worry about if you want to take your scanner on the road.

Bring a professional-quality color scanner with you anywhere

Curious about a color? Use the Nix Scanner(opens in a new tab) and find out what you’re seeing. For a limited time, get the Nix Mini Color Sensor V2 for $83.95 (Reg. $99).

Prices subject to change.
