Wear OS has seen something of a renaissance lately, spearheaded almost entirely by Samsung's recent Galaxy Watch devices. The Galaxy Watch 4 and 4 Classic were our favorite smartwatches of 2021, and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro are among the best smartwatches on the market. Google's first wearable, the Pixel Watch, is due to hit the market, and many watches from traditional market leaders like Fossil and Mobvoi are slated to get Wear OS 3 before the end of the year. It's an exciting time to be a Wear OS fan.
