Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ latest trailer is a bunch of bone-chilling stories

I admittedly squealed when Netflix first announced Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. And with the trailer finally here, my heart is swelling with oh-so-much anticipation.

With a roster of work that commonly marries macabre with fairytale fantasy, Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Pinocchio, The Shape of Water) is back with his Cabinet of Curiosities, an eight-episode anthology series on all things horror.

With each episode boasting its own story and cast, the show’s trailer offers glimpses into the spooks, squeals, and suspense tying them all together. Also revealed is the episode list which includes: “The Autopsy,” “Dreams in the Witch House” (starring Rupert Grint, aka Ron Weasely), “Graveyard Rats,” “Lot 36,” “The Murmuring,” “The Outside,” “Pickman’s Model,” and “The Viewing”  — with del Toro acting as a modern-day Rod Serling for them all.

A twisted, del Toro take on the Twilight Zone formula, Cabinet of Curiosities is going to be an incredible watch right in the midst of spooky season, with all of its doors begging to be opened.

Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities premieres on Netflix Oct. 25, with two new episodes dropping each day until the 28th. (opens in a new tab)
