For the first time, Amazon is hosting two Prime Day sales events in one year. Amazon Prime Day 2022 (round two) runs October 11-12. Technically called Prime Early Access Sale 2022, the sales event is exclusive to members and will likely be fairly similar to the first event in July. This assumption is already somewhat backed up by Amazon’s slate of early deals that are already live. We’ve rounded up the best early Prime Day deals ahead of the Prime Early Access Sale.
As of now, most of the official deals are focused on Amazon-branded devices, which isn’t surprising considering that the retailer always pushes its wide assortment of highly rated tech products.

In addition to those deals, though, we’ve included some excellent gaming discounts in this roundup. There are a bunch of great Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC gaming deals right now, spanning across exclusive games, controllers, headsets, and more. PC gamers can also check out deals on gaming laptops and monitors. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a big sale without TV deals.
Other retailers will try to compete with Amazon Prime Day with their own tempting discounts, no membership required. Target’s Deal Days event is back October 6-8, and Newegg’s Fantastech Sale II returns October 10-13. Walmart is hosting a “rollback” sale, and we imagine GameStop and Best Buy will get in on the fun, too.
