TL;DR: As of Oct. 16, you can get the myGEKOgear Orbit 110 Full HD Dashcam(opens in a new tab) for just $49.99 instead of $99.99 — that’s a 50% discount.

You can keep your eyes on the road, but you can’t always catch everything. If you want an objective witness after a collision, you may want a dashcam at the ready. The myGEKOgear Orbit 110 is an HD Dashcam(opens in a new tab) with a low profile in your car, and it could be your chance to see what really happened during an accident. For a limited time, the myGEKOgear Orbit 110 Full HD Dashcam is on sale for just $49.99 (reg. $99).

A dashcam that detects when something happens

This HD dashcam has 8GB of local storage that’s expandable up to 32GB. That’s a fair bit of space, but it can’t save everything, but that’s why it has loop cycle recording. After a while, the camera will record over old data. However, it’s also equipped with a G-sensor that locks any emergency files if the camera senses “drastic breaking” or a collision, according to the manufacturer. If the worst happens and your car is part of a collision, you shouldn’t have to worry about your camera automatically deleting the footage.

The accident sensors are exciting, but they’d be useless without the 1080p resolution and 120-degree viewing angle. Record a wide view of what’s happened around your car the entire time you’re driving. It can even record at night, and a CMOS sensor(opens in a new tab) helps render clear images day or night.

If you’re involved in a traffic collision and it comes to a day in court, the Orbit 110 has a few features that could provide you with more information about what happened. The built-in GPS logging shows exactly where you were at a given time, and an integrated microphone also records sound.

This second set of eyes could come in handy

It’s always good to have peace of mind when it comes to driving, and a dashcam is something that may be good to have at your disposal. For a limited time, get the myGEKOgear Orbit 110 Full HD Dashcam(opens in a new tab) for just $49.99 (reg. $99).
