‘Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania’ trailer: Kang the Conqueror and… Bill Murray?

Phase 5 of the MCU kicks off with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and from the looks of the first trailer, superhero stories are only going to get weirder from here on out.

The sequel to Ant-Man and The Wasp is a family affair as Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton) are sucked into the very bizarre Quantum Realm.

Strange new creatures and adventures await, but the real problem here is Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors, who steps up from being TV antagonist in Loki to the MCU’s next big-screen baddie.

The trailer shows us a few glimpses of Kang in all his blue-armored glory, as well as a tense face-off between him and Scott. Plus, Bill Murray is officially part of the MCU. But the secrets of the Quantum Realm remain as mysterious as ever. Guess we’ll have to wait until Phase 5 to figure out what is going on.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters Feb. 17, 2023.
