Best Buy is restocking the PlayStation 5 at 12 p.m. ET (10/31) for Totaltech members

We called it: Best Buy is restocking the ever-elusive PlayStation 5 at 12 p.m. ET today (Oct. 31) as part of its ongoing Black Friday sale, marking the $499.99 console’s first re-appearance there since July.

There’s just one teeny, tiny asterisk: You have to be a Totaltech member in order to gain access.

For the uninitiated, Best Buy Totaltech is a premium membership program that includes unlimited Geek Squad tech support, free two-day shipping, up to 24 months of product protection, and exclusive holiday offers like these, among other perks(opens in a new tab).

At $199.99 a year, it’s a hard recommendation to make for anyone who’s not planning on refreshing a bunch of big tech or appliances within the next few months. (For comparison’s sake, Walmart has locked PS5 restocks behind $98/year Walmart+ membership paywalls in the past.) But if you’re hoping to make a gamer’s dreams come true this holiday season, this may be your only option outside of requesting Amazon’s PS5 invites and praying.

Either way, good luck.
