Walmart+ membership deal: Save 50% through Nov. 3 and unlock Black Friday access

Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

SAVE $49: Through Nov. 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET, first-time Walmart+ members can save 50% on an annual subscription(opens in a new tab), bringing the yearly price down to just $49.99.

Walmart has some good news and bad news, holiday shoppers.

Let’s get the bad out of the way first, which is that early access to the store’s online Black Friday Deals for Days events is once again paywalled. Members of the retailer’s Walmart+ program get first dibs starting at 12 p.m. ET on Nov. 7, and if last year is any indication, many deals will sell out long before the sale opens to the public at 7 p.m. ET. (Think $159 AirPods Pro(opens in a new tab), a $79 HP Chromebook(opens in a new tab), and a $398 65-inch LG 4K smart TV(opens in a new tab) — real wishlist-worthy stuff.)

As for the good: Annual Walmart+ subscriptions(opens in a new tab) are half off for new members through Nov. 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Walmart’s Black Friday deals are already trickling in — these are the best ones so far

This is an extremely worthwhile offer, and not just because it saves you $49 or scores you Black Friday access before the masses. It also unlocks a plethora of additional exclusive benefits, including:

  • a free Paramount+ Essential(opens in a new tab) subscription (valued at $4.99/month or $49.99/year), which is active for the duration of your Walmart+ membership

  • a free six-month Spotify Premium(opens in a new tab) subscription (valued at $9.99/month)

  • free shipping with no order minimum

  • free delivery from your local Walmart store on orders of $35 or more

  • savings on fuel at over 14,000 locations nationwide, including Exxon, Mobil, Walmart, and Murphy gas stations (up to 10 cents/gallon)

  • access to the Walmart mobile app’s Scan & Go(opens in a new tab) feature

  • a $15 Lyft credit (while supplies last)

It’s very rare to see a discount equivalent of six months free on a major retailer’s membership program — Amazon and Best Buy have never offered 50% off Prime(opens in a new tab) or Totaltech(opens in a new tab) subscriptions for first-timers (respectively), for comparison’s sake. If you’ve mulled over the idea of signing up for Walmart+ before, consider this a sign from the shopping gods.
