Nothing like meeting your partner’s family for the first time at Christmas without them.
That’s the set-up for Prime Video holiday comedy Your Christmas Or Mine? directed by Catastrophe and Trying‘s Jim O’Hanlon, in which couple Hayley (newcomer Cora Kirk) and James (Sex Education‘s Asa Butterfield) accidentally travel to each other’s family houses at Christmas — and get trapped there due to a massive snowfall. Hayley ends up in James’ family mansion in the Gloucester countryside while James finds himself meeting her family at their semi-detached home in Macclesfield.
A pretty quick and intense way to get to know someone, right?
Inside each other’s families you’ll find a pretty solid cast, with Killing Eve and Succession star Harriet Walter, The Crown‘s Alex Jennings, Harry Potter actor David “Argus Filch” Bradley, Emily in Paris‘ Lucien Laviscount, Natalie Gumede of Titans, White Lines’ Angela Griffin and Desmond’s actor Ram John Holder among others.
