Amazon isn’t exactly known for its Black Friday TV deals in the way that big box stores like Best Buy and Walmart are. But if you insist on making your TV upgrade through Amazon, there are still some gems scattered across the site ahead of Black Friday despite Amazon’s fluctuating stock and list prices.
Mainly, you can count on Amazon to price match on a select few flagship TVs, like every size of Samsung’s The Frame, as well as Amazon’s own lines of Fire TVs (though Best Buy has beat Amazon at its own Fire TV game in recent weeks). Opting for the 55-inch version of Amazon’s 4-Series Fire TVs over the 55-inch Omni Fire TVs saves you $150 — but we wouldn’t call it cutting corners. Compared to the ultra cheap Fire TVs offered by brands like Insignia and TCL, Amazon’s own 4-Series supports HDR and HDMI 2.1 and achieves decent brightness despite lacking any dedicated dimming zones.
