Cyber Monday streaming deals: Save on Paramount+, Fire TV Sticks, and more

November 21, 2022

UPDATE: Nov. 9, 2022, 12:05 p.m. EST This story has been updated with the latest early Black Friday streaming deals. Here’s a brief overview:

If you’re looking for something new to watch or listen to during the winter lull, Black Friday is great time to sign up for (and save big on) a new streaming service or device. Many subscriptions see steep price drops in late November — remember Hulu’s iconic 99 cent sale? — and media players like Rokus and Amazon Fire TV Sticks typically hit their lowest prices of the year as we head into the holidays.

We’ll keep track of Black Friday’s best streaming deals here as they pop up, so check back often. Below, you’ll find the best streaming delas as of Nov. 9.

Streaming service deals

Why we like it

Signing up for Walmart+(opens in a new tab) ($12.95/month or $98/year) nabs you a free subscription to Paramount+ Essential(opens in a new tab), its plan with limited ads, which will be active for the entire duration of your membership. That comes on top of a suite of other member perks, including free shipping, fuel discounts, and exclusive early access to Walmart’s Black Friday deals — very clutch.

If you’re not a big Walmart shopper, however, you can grab a free 30-day trial of Paramount+ by visiting paramountplus.com(opens in a new tab) and entering the promo code BRAVO at checkout. (This route gives you the option of choosing between its Essential and ad-free Premium tiers, FYI.) For comparison’s sake, the standard Paramount+ free trial for new users is typically just a week long.

Streaming device deals

Why we like it

Named “the best media streamer you can buy for under $50” by our pals at PCMag (which is owned by Mashable’s publisher, Ziff Davis), Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K(opens in a new tab) features Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10+ support and includes an Alexa Voice Remote for hands-free control. In a bold move, Best Buy is matching Amazon‘s 50% discount on it and throwing in free trials of Amazon Music Unlimited, Apple TV+, and fuboTV Pro ahead of Black Friday. You love to see it.
