Best smartphone deal: The Galaxy Z Fold4 is half-off when you trade in your phone at Samsung

SAVE $1020: As of Dec. 8, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4(opens in a new tab) is available for $899.99 at Samsung after trading in an eligible smartphone. That’s a discount of 53%. If you purchase the Galaxy Z Fold4 without a trade-in, the price is $1499.99, which is still a $420 discount off the original price of $1919.99. That’s a discount of almost 22%.

Flagship phones can significantly upgrade all sorts of life and tech tasks thanks to their powerful and well-rounded features — but they also come at a premium cost. But if you’re looking to buy one of Samsung’s latest smartphone arrivals, you may not find a deal better than this one through the end of 2022.

As a part of their Discover Samsung event, the Korean tech company is offering the Galaxy Z Fold4 (512 GB)(opens in a new tab) at $899.99, which is a massive discount of $1020, or 53% off. Get the deal by trading in an eligible smartphone from one of the following brands: Samsung, Apple, Google, LG, Motorola, or OnePlus. If your exchanged device is in a good condition, you will receive up to $900 in enhanced trade-in credit. If your phone screen is cracked, you’ll get $750 of limited-time credit value toward the exchange. This limited-time trade-in offer is better than Best Buy’s same deal that offers up to $900 off(opens in a new tab), so this is a good time to invest in a brand-new Samsung smartphone if you’re in the market.

The 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage are useful for smoothly performing tasks on multiple apps. You can take hands-free video calls with Flex Mode, and thanks to the Multi-Window View, you can perform two tasks simultaneously, such as sending text messages while you watch your favorite show. This phone’s high-end standard features — such as a 50MP primary camera sensor, up to 8K video resolution, and stylus support — means you might not need to invest in a tablet after all.

In case you don’t have a suitable device for exchange, the Galaxy Z Fold4 with 512GB is available at $1499.99, which is the same price as the 256GB version. Plus, there’s $150 of free in-store credit bundled in. Grab this deal while it lasts.
