Everyone is looking out for their own pocket.
Sony trying to stop the deal because Call of Duty is the biggest revenue on PlayStation. None of their first party titles generate anywhere near the same amount of revenue that call of duty does.
And MS wants to boost their game pass service buy acquiring a whole bunch of IPs in one go including COD.
Sony can’t ignore this acquisition because of the magnitude of revenue they stand to lose.
