Returnal For PC Gets A Great Discount Ahead Of This Week’s Launch

February 13, 2023

We’re just days away from the release of Returnal for PC. The stellar third-person shooter is the latest PlayStation console exclusive to make the move to PC. Returnal launches this Wednesday, February 15. If you’re interested in picking up one of the best roguelikes around, you can save $10 on your preorder–which is delivered as a Steam key–at Fanatical right now.

Over at Fanatical, Returnal is currently discounted by 10% ahead of launch, dropping its price from $60 to $54. To increase your savings, you can use the code RETURNAL17 for 17% off, dropping the price down to $49.67.

A PS5-exclusive originally, Returnal combines some of the best elements that developer Housemarque is known for–gorgeous visuals, rapid-fire action, and arcade high-score DNA–with a tough-as-nails roguelike experience set on a hostile alien world. Like other PlayStation ports, this version will also take advantage of PC hardware to deliver top-notch graphics.

Ray-traced shadows and reflections, Ultrawide at 21:9 and Super Ultrawide 32:9 monitor support will be available, and even if you’re not fielding the latest in graphics cards, Returnal isn’t too demanding and will have Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling technologies included.

“Returnal is constantly unsettling and consistently challenging. Its mysterious story and demanding action feel intense, urgent, and fresh, Mike Epstein wrote in GameSpot’s Returnal review. “The fast-moving combat manages to appear incredibly daunting, bordering on overwhelming, without ever actually becoming insurmountable. Every moment is a rush, either because you just barely evaded a giant purple laser or because you have no idea why there’s an Apollo-era astronaut following your every move.”
