Pedro Pascal deployed his 'SNL' sketch voice as 'The Mandalorian' and we're ded

He might be the most serious, tortured soul to walk the post-apocalyptic earth as HBO’s The Last Of Us’s Joel Miller. But to the internet, he’s our favourite “cool, slutty daddy.” And judging by the Saturday Night Live “Fancam” skit, TikTok’s endless thirsting over the Mandalorian star hasn’t exactly escaped his notice (don’t pretend you haven’t watched the Pedro edits 👀).

During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Pascal whipped out the inimitable voice used in his SNL “Waking Up” sketch — the “oh ma gaaah, wheh am ahhh” voice — only this time, it was coupled with references to The Mandalorian and The Last Of Us.

Speaking to Meyers, Pascal could barely contain his laughter as he slipped back into the SNL voice to utter “this is the way” — the Mandalorian creed — the only way it should be said, really.

“This is the waahh.”

Referring to the many deaths which occur in pretty much every episode of The Last Of Us, Meyers and Pascal kept the SNL voice going: “Ah cahn’t bahlahve he dahhd!”

What a gift.
