Not 100% sure, but I think the upgrade fee relates to consoles rather than VR. So if you own it for PS4 and want to play on PSVR, it’s free. If you own it on PS5 and want to play it on PSVR2, it’s free. But if you own it on PS4 and want to play it on PSVR2 it’s £8 upgrade. I might be wrong, just an assumption.
In any event, it’s worth it in my opinion – amazing on PSVR2!
