Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Preorders Discounted For Xbox And PC

March 2, 2023

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has flown under the radar a bit, but the dark fantasy game published by Koei Tecmo launches this tomorrow, March 3. Developed by Team Ninja, the studio behind the Nioh series, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a souls-like with fast-paced combat. And if you preorder the game ahead of its launch, you can get it for just $50, down from $60. The deal is available for PC at Fanatical, Green Man Gaming, and Newegg. Fanatical and GMG have the PC Steam version, while Newegg has digital copies via the Microsoft Store for Xbox and PC (as well as Steam for PC).

If you’re shopping at Newegg, you have to enter promo code WLFDPP to receive the discount. To get the impressive preorder deal at Fanatical, you’ll need to use promo code WOLONG2 at checkout. Codes sold through both Fanatical and Green Man Gaming are redeemable on Steam. The only difference in the deals is that you’ll get a 5% off coupon for your next order by preordering at Fanatical.

Aside from a $10 price cut, your preorder entitles you to the Zhuque Armor and Baihu Armor, giving you two ways to customize your character early in your journey.

If you want more goodies, consider opting for the Digital Deluxe edition, which is down to $71 from its usual $85 when using WOLONG2 at checkout (or by default at GMG). Xbox players can get the Digital Deluxe edition at Newegg for $75 with promo code WLFDPP. This edition comes with a digital art book, digital mini soundtrack, and a season pass–which will include Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, Upheaval In Jingxiang, and the Qinglong Armor.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty hasn’t had the most robust marketing campaign, but fans of Nioh or Dark Souls will likely be interested in the new action-RPG. The combat is fast and violent, and you’ll be able to master a variety of weapons and magical spells to dominate the battlefield. Better yet, you can check out a demo for yourself and see if it’s worth investing in ahead of its launch.

It’s worth noting that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. If you’re a new subscriber, you can get your first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for only $1.
