Yeah they should have advertised Hi-Fi Rush. Shadow dropping it is probably why it didn’t make enough money, as Jeff Grubb let slip. It was a game worth advertising.
As for Redfall, I’d imagine they don’t really want to draw attention to that one and are happy enough having it stay in the shadows. I expect we’ll see a proper marketing push with Starfield, so not long to wait until we finally see them backing their games.
It’s strange (for a company of their size), but ever since the ABK deal emerged, Microsoft seem to have really taken their eye off of the ball and (even more weirdly!) tightened up on spending. It would be nice if they could finally throw gamers some scraps that their lawyers haven’t gobbled up!
