They’re already making subpar games.
They have literally hyped subpar games, shown previews of them after an in-house review, somehow been surprised by public reaction, delayed many multiple times, only to release them in a still subpart state.
They need to learn how to simply make games, without proclaiming some innovation they’ll fail to live up to, so as to know what a game is.
After all this time in the industry, they don’t seem to even know what a game is.
