Even with a few big hitters missing, the PlayStation Showcase was nearly perfect

Yea ok… if you’re into mostly indies and CG trailers that state “not actual gameplay,” sure I can see how it was nearly perfect.

Of everything shown only 4 games were interesting to me: Phantom Blade 0, Alan Wake 2, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and Spider-Man 2. The rest of the stuff looked like what I’d see front-and-center in an Xbox showcase… man, Cat Quest, like why bother putting stuff like that in the show?

I hope Sony’s next showcase learns from this. Lord knows we don’t need 2 Xbox showcase level showings…
