Before I even read the article my first thought was Xenogears. Then I read Question 6. People clearly want it. That line brightened the tiny glimmer of hope I have for this to one day be a reality. Honestly, even if the 2nd disk is in the same state, I would still buy a remaster with a localization update and 2D HD style.
Unfortunately I’m still way too skeptical that Square Enix would even bother. I know the vague answer means there’s a possibility, but in order to get it right, we need Takahashi and his wife to oversee it. From what I’ve heard, they’re not interested.
