I think his point is if Sony hypothetically did do something huge, which would basically be a reaction to this decision, then no one can complain

Microsoft got two massive publishers and nothing happened, so Sony can now do what they like. Microsoft has started this and opened Pandora’s box.

I mean like you’ve just said, Final Fantasy, people have been calling Sony over the exclusivity, even other games where it’s only timed, but after all this it’s literally tame to what Microsoft has done.
