The second day of Prime Day naturally falls victim to dwindling stocks of products seeing the best discounts on opening day.
But somehow, most of the best robot vacuum deals — which have grown to be a pillar of the event — are still up for grabs (for now). These include record-low pricing on several new releases from Roborock, the most powerful Roomba, and a self-emptying Roomba that can recognize phone chargers and pet waste.

Why we like it
Last summer, Roborock debuted two affordable, LiDAR-equipped robot vacuum series: the Q5 and Q7. The Q5 is the cheapest of them all, skipping mopping and automatic emptying to keep the cost low. Still, it stands out against competitors in the same price range (especially at this Prime Day pricing) with its hearty suction power and ability to map rooms in your home and avoid certain spots with virtual no-go zones.
For the same $259.99 sale price that Eufy’s X8(opens in a new tab) is currently seeing, the Q5 boasts 700 Pa more suction power (for a peak of 2,700 Pa).

Why we like it
iRobot quietly released the Roomba j6+ as a more affordable alternative to its most vigilant (and most expensive) small obstacle avoider, the j7+(opens in a new tab). During Prime Day, you can score the j6+ for 50% off at $399.99 compared to the j7+’s underwhelming discount which leaves it at $649. Alternatively, the self-emptying version of the j6 is the same price as the non-self-emptying j7(opens in a new tab) on sale.
The j6+ can still identify the two most troublesome obstacles for robot vacuums — phone chargers and pet waste — while the j7+ and currently sold-out Combo j7+ have extra smarts to detect objects like socks and backpacks.

Why we like it
The s9+ isn’t the newest Roomba anymore, but it still stands out for two reasons: It’s currently the only Roomba with a flat edge and the only Roomba with deep cleaning function specifically for carpet.The noise it makes is hard to ignore, but is simultaneously evidence of how hard it’s working to loosen that stepped-on grime in your flooring.

Spring 2023 marked (another) new era for Roborock with the release of several new models — most of which are on sale for Prime Day. Compared to one of our previous-favorite hybrids, the S7+, the Roborock Q Revo brings along several wickedly-helpful features like a self-refilling water tank and automatic mop washing and drying, plus stronger suction. Those hands-off mopping extras aren’t new to Roborock, but the Q Revo does them for $300 less than the S7 Max Ultra(opens in a new tab).
