Harlan Coben can’t seem to stop getting his books adapted by major streamers. Netflix has already turned a whopping seven of his novels into TV series(opens in a new tab), and now Prime Video clearly wants a slice of the Coben pie as well.
Shelter, based on the author’s YA thriller of the same name, follows a high schooler (Jaden Michael) trying to get to the bottom of two disappearances: His father’s, and that of a girl in his class he’d formed a relationship with. Cue some amateur detective work, a creepy mansion, and a mysterious old lady with a cryptic message.
The first three episodes of Shelter land on Prime Video on August 18, with new episodes releasing each Friday.
