Blasphemous 2 Preorders Are Live, Physical Edition Available

July 26, 2023

It’s been nearly four years since the Blasphemous launched to critical acclaim, and now Blasphemous 2 is just around the corner. The challenging metroidvania with Souls-like influences will once again follow The Penitent One as they navigate a strange new world and battle against strange new enemies. Everything that made the original a hit seems to be returning for the sequel–including its gorgeous art style, foreboding atmosphere, and tense, methodical combat.

Blasphemous 2 preorders are now live, with digital versions launching on August 24 (physical copies arrive on September 15). There are also a few pricing differences between platforms, along with a launch-day discount.

Blasphemous 2 Preorder Bonuses

While you won’t get any exclusive content for preordering Blasphemous 2, you will benefit from a 10% discount on digital copies. So, if you’re interested in picking up the rage-inducing indie, now might be the best time.

$25+

Pricing for Blasphemous 2 is peculiar. Digital copies of the game regularly retail for $30, but they’re all currently on sale for just $26. Physical copies, meanwhile, are $35 on Xbox and PS5, while the Switch edition is more expensive at $40–this certainly isn’t the first time the Switch version of the game has cost more.

Also, note that digital copies launch on August 24 and physical copies arrive later on September 15 and will be available at retailers such as Best Buy and Walmart.
