PowerA has announced a new collaboration with Sega that will see it roll out a new line of Sonic the Hedgehog controllers and accessories. The lineup consists of a Switch controller, Xbox Controller, Switch Protection Case, and a TriFold Game Card Holder. All four products are available to purchase today at Amazon.

For the wired Xbox controller, fans can expect to see Sonic on a blue checkered background that’s accentuated by stars, while the wired Switch controller features the Blue Blur racing at lightning-quick speed. The Nintendo Switch protective case features a similar motif, and the TriFold game card holder is a simple but eye-catching carrying case with the iconic Sonic logo printed onto it.

Gotta go fast!

“As big fans ourselves, the PowerA team is thrilled to partner with the team at Sega to bring Sonic the Hedgehog and friends to our controllers and accessories,” said Akio Strasser, Senior Global Marketing Director for PowerA. “With more than 30 years of Sonic, and multiple generations of gamers experiencing this franchise, we are so excited to bring these characters to life on our accessories for the first time.”

Now is a great time to jump into Sonic games, as the last year has seen Sega’s mascot hit the ground running in a big open-world game called Sonic Frontiers, while compilations such as the recent Sonic Origins Plus have kept the hedgehog’s classic adventures alive for a new audience.
