TL;DR: As of August 11, get a refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 Tiny computer for just $189.99 in the Mashable Shop (reg. $349.99) — that’s a 45% discount.

Computer-shopping on a budget is a tough task, but it’s manageable if you know what you’re looking for. If you need a high-spec gaming PC, you might have better luck grabbing something off the shelf or building your own. If you need a reliable computer that you can use for office work, homework, browsing, or streaming, then check out a near-mint Lenovo ThinkCentre while it’s only $189.99 (reg. $349.99).

A refurb computer that’s in near-mint condition

This tiny computer packs a punch, and being refurbished doesn’t change that. In fact, the “A” refurbished rating means the only real way you might notice this computer isn’t brand new is the manufacturing year. It was originally made in 2015, but it’s in near-mint condition and the hardware should still hold up well for students or office workers.

The 2.2GHz Intel Core i5-6400T processor is designed offer some smooth performance for multitasking across apps, and you have 16GB RAM to work with. This may not be a great computer for PC gaming, but programs like Microsoft Office 2021 and other productivity tools fit the bill. Plus, you have 256GB of storage, so there’s plenty of room to store files and various programs.

The ThinkCentre M900 is small, measuring just over seven inches at its widest point, so busy dorm room desks and shared working spaces don’t have to be dominated by your computer. As small as it is, this PC still has some room for essential peripherals. Use the VGA or DisplayPort to connect a monitor; that still leaves six USB 3.0 ports for a keyboard, mouse, and WiFi dongle. All three of those are included too, along with an AC adapter.

A new-to-you PC at a new low price

Computer shopping on a budget doesn’t mean settling for less than what you need.

Get a near-mint refurbished Lenovo ThinkCentre M900 on sale for $189.99.

Prices subject to change.
