It will be a tough decision for Larian. On one hand, they’re still independent enough to be able to choose the projects they want to work on, and if the next Divinity is what they want to make, they will make it. On the other hand, they’ve never done numbers like this. Even with the license agreement I imagine the studio is better funded now than it has ever been before, probably by multiple times over, and that’s before even considering console sales or the tail on this game. It’s going to be hard to say no to more Baldur’s Gate following this unprecedented success, no matter how much they miss Divinity.
