Then what is? Sub numbers? That have been stagnant as we saw from the FTC files, and are lower than PS+ and Nintendo online numbers. Good games? Sony and Nintendo have outdone them for years on that front, although I guess if you count the multiplatform IPs they bought up and were getting anyway, maybe they’ll finally start making good on that now. Revenue? I guess if there is a good margin and you have to spend 80 billion to move up a position to do it.
This whole thing about playing down console sales is just copium from Xbox fanboys because their latest ‘worlds most powerful console’ is being outsold by the bloody Xbox one, and being embarrassed by the PS4 and Switch.
Hey guys, Nintendo’s 130 million switches out there isn’t a big deal and no metric of success, nothing to see here.
