Combat looks awful, all 8 seconds of it. That “WiFi” icon in top left, half a sec delay between action and reaction, ugh. Is this Action RPG now? Not seeing any party member icons – can you even play as them? Or will there be party members at least?
It’s like, with each new version, they go as far away as possible from the original CRPG, turning it into the cinematic barebones RPG first, then MMO-lite, now always online* action RPG. Just why? It’s like turning a famous RTS game series into a squad-based tac… Uh-oh, bad memories are coming back…

And i’m not talking about graphics and animations. Color choices is also very strange. Third was obsessed with red (lyrium) and neon green. This one is neon Saints purple so far. Not a fan that icon shows one helmet, but character wears similar but other, but that’s probably just dev version.

Overall, this just feels like Lords of the Fallen “at home”, if you catch my drift.

* I hope i’m wrong, but it’s EA and new age BioWare, so…
