Spider-man 2 is a template Sony has used for many open world games – Spider-man, Miles Morales, HZD, HZD – Forbidden West, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima. It’s a template already very derivative of Ubisoft games and many other games.
BoTW with it’s physics systems and level of environmental interactivity genuinely brought something fresh to open world gaming. TOTK improved and added more ideas to that concept than all those Ubisoft clones together over the span of over a decade.
No problem if anyone wants to label both games copy and paste. But SM2 is copy and paste ad Infinitum whereas ToTK is just the once.
