Earlier this month, Warner Bros. and Player First Games announced they would be adding iconic Batman villain The Joker to the MultiVersus roster when it relaunches on May 28. Today, two more villainous additions–Friday The 13th’s Jason Voorhees and The Matrix’s Agent Smith–were revealed via a new launch trailer.

The trailer highlights matchups between previously featured members of the roster, like Finn from Adventure Time teaming with Velma from Scooby Doo and Wonder Woman doing battle with alternate versions of herself. The scene then shifts to the throne room from Game of Thrones, where The Joker taunts the heroes flanked by Jason and Agent Smith.

Now Playing: MultiVersus – Official Cinematic Launch Trailer “Stars Collide. Pies Fly.”

Jason Voorhees is making his second-ever guest appearance in a fighting game, after he featured as a downloadable character in 2015’s Mortal Kombat X. Agent Smith, meanwhile, has only featured in four video games total since the debut of The Matrix, with the most recent being a cameo appearance in Lego Dimensions as part of the Lego Batman Movie pack.

After being removed from online stores for nearly a year, MultiVersus will return with a completely revamped fighting system, new rollback netcode, a reworked economy and more. Along with the three new characters, two new stages–one set in Townsville from The Powerpuff Girls, the other in Dexter’s Laboratory–will be part of the rotation, as well as a new PvE mode with branching paths and themed events.

MultiVersus will launch as a free-to-play title for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on May 28.
