The Dune tabletop strategy game, Dune: War for Arrakis is discounted at Amazon. The miniatures-based game released earlier this year at a retail price of $140, but you can grab the core box set for just $112 for a limited time.
Dune: War for Arrakis is an asymmetrical competitive game for two to four players. Each player controls forces from either House Harkonnen or the Fremen as they clash for control over the planet Dune. While the game is focused on tactical combat with plastic miniatures and resource gathering, there is also a narrative component where players can recreate the events of the Dune saga and even change the outcome of the story.
The Dune: War for Arrakis core box includes everything needed for two to four players to play. However, if you want to expand your gameplay, you can also grab the Dune: The Spacing Guild expansion for $45 (was $50). The expansion adds new miniatures and strategies to use in battle, and an expanded game board that pushes the conflict beyond Dune’s surface and into space.
