Black Myth Wukong “Non-Pay-to-Win” Microtransactions and DLC Might Be Incoming According to Game FAQ

The said thing is eventually in the far future the PS5 will also suffer because when it comes to multiplatform games the developers might end up thinking

“We could do X, Y and Z but because of parity the Series S won’t be able to handle it and Microsoft won’t allow us to just have a Series X version. Also do we really want to just develop these cool features for just one console (PS5), yeah we may aswell just not do it, the whole ordeal just seems far too complex and stressful to get into”

In my opinion, with sales being so lacklustre on Series S/X compared to the PS5, I think Microsoft need these multiplatform games more than they need them. Developers with massive anticipated titles have more of a chance to stand up for themselves and just say no to Microsoft when it comes to the Series S. Would Microsoft really tell a big studio with their massive anticipated release to f*** off completely from their console altogether? I doubt it, Microsoft needs them more than ever or they will just end up pushing them towards Sony with the PS5.
