Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Preorders Are Live

July 3, 2024

Dead Rising first launched for Xbox 360 in 2006, giving players a chance to roam around Willamette Parkview Mall for 72 hours as they attempt to survive a zombie outbreak. The cult classic is getting a second life nearly two decades later, with Capcom releasing Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster later this year for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Physical versions will arrive in November, while digital copies will go live on September 18. Both versions are now up for preorder–and there are some enticing preorder bonuses if you reserve a copy early.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Preorder Bonuses

Preordering Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster gets you the Dead Rising Original Pack, which features three costumes and background music that can be played throughout Willamette Parkview Mall. Costumes include Frank West 2006, Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2, and the Willamette Parkview Mall Bee from Dead Rising. Background music includes Dreams of Yore, Super Shopper, and Happy Fight.

$50

The standard edition comes with the above preorder bonuses and the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster base game. It offers up to a 4K resolution, 60fps frame rate, updated character models, and a slew of quality-of-life updates to help modernize the action. Keep in mind that digital versions will launch on September 18, while physical versions won’t hit shelves until November. Physical PS5 and Xbox Series X copies are available for preorder at Amazon, while you’ll find digital copies on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store.

$60

Its name might be a mouthful, but the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Digital Deluxe is a solid choice if you want to pick up a few in-game goodies. Specifically, this one is loaded with additional costumes and background music. Here’s what you’ll get for your extra $10:

  • Costumes & BGM: Willamette Parkview Mall Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Resident Evil Heroes Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Resident Evil Villains Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Mega Man Pack
  • Costumes & BGM: Capcom Fighters Pack

All told, there are 17 costumes and 17 background tracks in the digital deluxe edition, making it a decent choice if you want more customization options for your undead rampage.
