We’re expecting huge Xbox controller Prime Day deals on July 16-17, but many retailers are already slashing prices ahead of the shopping holiday. Specifically, Target and Walmart are dropping prices on a wide range of Xbox controllers–and even Amazon is offering nice discounts leading up to Prime Day.
One of the most notable discounts is for the Xbox Core Wireless Controller (Pulse Red), which is just $34.49 (down from $65). That’s a remarkable deal, and it’s the lowest prices we’ve seen all year. If you need to replace an aging controller or need a gamepad for Player Two, it’s hard to pass up this deal. You’ll need to sign up for Target Circle to get the low price, but signing up is free and takes just a few seconds.
Plenty of other Xbox Core Wireless Controller colors are on sale, including the Dream Vapor Special Edition for $48 (down from $70) and the standard Carbon Black for $44 (down from $60). The Elite Series 2 can even be had for $151 (down from $180), and since it comes with tons of swappable components and is highly customizable, it’s a good choice for fans of fast-paced multiplayer games. For something more affordable but still a step up from the base Xbox controller, the Elite Series 2 Core (Red) is $96 at Target.
