starting to think the same,.

only thing putting me off is the high initial cost,
plus when you come to sell/ trade it, the return, is so low, as they are outdated so fast,

you can sell a graphics card one generation behind, but 2 gens, expect to loose.

for example an RTX 2070 which once cost £500, is on ebay now for £135. Big drop your taking in about 5 years. not to mention all the other parts, which will be even more obsolete, the ram and motherboard won’t be compatible with new gen graphics card, so they will have to go as well..

But yeh, once you’ve got a rig its cheaper than consoles.

ohh, exept on power, yeh they cost TWICE as much per hour, to run on electricity when gaming,.

Here in the uk, a console costs about 20p per hour, but a 650-700 watt pc would be 40p. over the year, that could add up to £100 easily and so the money you saved on cheaper steam games / sales etc, just goes on the bill to pay for electricity.
