“Glitchy garbage”: This broken game mode is causing Zenless Zone Zero players grief

I earned over 180 pulls in the first 7 days of the game.

The game gives them out for easy to obtain goals like log in 7 times in 45 days to get tickets, things like earning tickets for leveling, some of the rewards were just put in your mail account in game. It was all granted though events and reaching goals

And this is exactly the way every game of this style promotes free tickets, and Mihoyo was very clear that the tickets are earned in game. It was clearly printed on the ads for the free pulls not hidden on some other website or in any way deceptive.

And I know the original author from Siliconera knows what Mihoyo’s intentions were and how these things work in game as they have talked about playing other Miyoho games on numerous occasions outside of news based coverage.

They even say “Now, to be fair, it is possible to get 180 free pulls in Zenless Zone Zero. This isn’t a case of false advertising.”.

Free in this case means zero dollars spent and outside of the types of content that usually earn pulls like dailies.

To call into question the intention of Mihoyo here who gave out ten pulls to every single player just for a minor bug that only effected a small number of people and who gives out free pulls just for inconveniencing players when they do updates is really poor sportsmanship.

I remember playing an MMO who had a bug a few players exploited they rolled back everyone’s account over a week regardless of if you used the exploits then insulted people on their forums while taking no responsibility at all for introducing the bug to begin with much less give anyone rewards.

Mihoyo treats its players with more respect than any other gaming company I can think of.
