It’s always an odd experience when I struggle to solve a really common word such as SIXTY in Quordle. I first took a look at it on the fourth guess, where I had S—Y with yellow I and T. I was pretty sure the I wouldn’t go directly before the Y, which meant it had to go after the S. And that meant it was either going to be SIT-Y or SI-TY. But I couldn’t see anything that would fit for either. So I went off and solved a couple of others, then returned to it with SI-TY confirmed and _still_ couldn’t see anything that worked. I ended up going through every possibility until eventually I put the X there and realized what an idiot I’d been.
