Sprains and breaks
Sprains and breaks are common injuries in 7 Days to Die. A sprained leg or knee will reduce your health and majorly slow you down, and a broken arm or leg will also reduce your health and speed even further. Each sprain will have a timer for how long you’re affected by the injury.
It’s also important to note that you shouldn’t sprint or jump while suffering from a sprain because it will increase the amount of time you’re suffering. So, only run around if you’re in immediate danger.
Painkillers will help for a sprain, and these are easily found through normal looting. Broken bones can only be helped with splints and casts, but these are much rarer and only craftable with the Physician skill. To get this crafting ability, you need to first put two points into the Intellect attribute to unlock the Physician skill, and then spend the one point needed to purchase it.
