Again, I’d rather see and I don’t know long its going to be until Visual Concepts can make another NHL2K. Just for fun before the Xbox store closure I saw I downloaded the NHL2K7 demo so I went and played that, wow! The presentation was amazing with Pre-Game that’s been completely removed from EA games with all their superstitions of tapping the bust before going on the ice or being the last off the ice. Remember when NHL Games had the actual video of the announcers and even showed the arena you were playing at before the game? The 2K series had the presentation down and the game was more simulated rather than arcade, it felt more real. EA? How much longer are the NFL and NHL gonna let EA treat their brands like this? You’re having to wait until someone gets a job with the NHL that is a gamer to say “Hey by-the-way, has anyone ever noticed EA are jacking up our brand? Wouldn’t y’all like to have better representation? Lets put a bid for the NHL and NFL back on the table. I mean, Visual Concepts is doing pretty good with the NBA2K series.” That’s a lot of luck or a lot of emails to the NHL and NFL boycotting buying games until they’re given competition and options. They don’t have to develop or pay the games developed so what do they care? Their business is sports. If the MLB can cry to Sony (probably because Phil Spencer went and cried to them knowing that’s how he was going to desperately get a PlayStation game on his hardware, which he then gave away for free) on the competitions hardware, we can go back to getting competition for NHL and NFL to start being treated like human beings and not how Xbox treats Xbox’s own fans
