I don’t get it.
The game will be in its 4th year.
It has been on Xbox / PC / Gamepass for ages and did really well. If you wanted to play this, you probably have by now.
Are there really 500k+ PS Gamers that never played this and totally want to spend $60 on this? How much money can you make with such an old game?
AND is this money worth pissing your fanbase off?
And it is not a classic GAAS title that kind of needs a steady audience.
I totally understand that MS and Sony are releasing their games on PC now. The development cycles and costs are ridiculous. Heck Forza Horizon 5 made an estimated 200 Million on Steam, so that makes sense. But putting your games on a (somehow) competitive console 3 or 4 years after the initial release is weird to me. It only generate negative news about you and devalues your own console for not that much revenue.
*edit* I never played Forza Horizon, since Racing games are not my cup of tea at all.
