The answers to today’s Quordle, game #946, are…
ABYSS is a nasty word to appear in Quordle or Wordle. All of the letters are in the wrong places. Take a look at my analysis of every Wordle answer for proof: the results there will transfer over to Quordle, and they show that B is only really common at the start of a word, not second, Y generally only appears at the end, not the middle, and S… well, S is common in most positions but it’s overwhelmingly more likely to be at the start than elsewhere. Add in the fact that it has a repeated letter and this is a potentially tough word. The good news is that the other three are all fairly straightforward!
