At $899, it’s a bit steep, but today’s discount at Amazon drops it down to a more approachable $719. As of Aug. 27, however, you can save 27% and pick up a pair for only $399. That’s just $16 shy of the record-low price they hit following Prime Day.
Kindle devices rarely see discounts; even on Prime Day, the savings were minimal. So, when we see a price drop, we have to highlight it. This time it’s on the classic Kindle. Typically $99.99, you can pick it up on Aug. 27 for just $84.99. That’s the same price it hit on Prime Day, for what it’s worth. A more affordable competitor to the Google Nest, Amazon’s Smart Thermostat can help optimize your HVAC energy use and smarten up your home. You can ask Alexa to adjust the temperature while you’re snug in bed, or automatically tune your thermostat to suit your preferences when you arrive home. Regularly $80, you can snag it on sale on Aug. 27 for $63.99. That’s not the lowest price it’s ever been, but it’s the biggest price drops since early June.
