These Budget-Friendly 3D Pixel Art Frames Recreate Moments From Gaming History

Who needs to visit the Louvre when you can create your very own art gallery at home? With these eye-catching pixel art frames from Level Up Labs, you can bring some of the most iconic moments of gaming to your home and office, decorating your space with retro classics like Castlevania, Contra, and Street Fighter 2.

These are nicely sized and affordable pieces of art designed to create a 3D effect, as the foreground, middle-ground, and background are layered and distanced to add depth to their shadowbox designs. Each piece is constructed in a wooden frame with a plexiglass cover and built-in wall mount, so you can easily display them right out of the box. These are all officially licensed pieces as well, adding to their overall quality.

Level Up Labs – Gaming Pixel Art Frames

Tetris, Street Fighter, Castlevania

Some of the highlights here include several Castlevania pieces–what a horrible night to have a curse!—Mega Man facing off against his eternal foe Dr. Wily, and thugs having their teeth rearranged by the fists of the Streets of Rage crew. For fighting game fans, there’s even the iconic Evo Moment 37, a replica of the iconic Daigo Parry. This is a fun little bit of history set inside Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike and recaptures the moment when Daigo Umehara bounced back from the brink of defeat.

The regular price of each frame is $30, and even if you’re not planning to cover your wall in Capcom and Konami history, these make for cool gifts for the gamer in your life. You can see the full list above, and for more art from Level Up Labs, you can check out these classic (and framed) gaming posters from the studio.
