Wicked: Part One hits theaters on November 22, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of the year. A reimagining of The Wizard of Oz, Wicked originally released as a novel by Gregory Maguire before being adapted into a Tony Award-winning stage musical. The Universal Pictures musical film has been in the works for over a decade, and the studio appears to be betting big on the film.
